Overview
Timeline connects a family's vision all the way down to the next action: Vision → Goals → Milestones → Tasks → Actions → Today. Dates inherit down the tree, roles are enforced server-side (not just hidden buttons), and private goals stay private across every view — dashboard, timeline, review, and search.

What's actually built
- AI goal decomposition — describe a goal in plain English, Gemini proposes a full milestone/task breakdown, reviewed and edited inline on a real UI (never a raw-JSON textarea) before it's confirmed.
- Two-way Google Calendar sync — OAuth2, encrypted refresh tokens, conflict detection against the signed-in member's own busy periods.
- A real rewards economy — goals/tasks carry a points value; completions queue for parent approval (with evidence submission + reject/resubmit), convert to a cash amount at the family's own conversion rate, and settle through an explicit kid-side "confirm received" step rather than auto-paying out.
- Role permissions that mean something — Owner/Adult/Child enforced in
src/lib/permissions.ts, not in the UI layer.
- A Store — single-claim listings families can create for kids to redeem points against.
- A full admin portal, weekly/monthly review rollups, in-app notifications, bulk JSON import, and a mobile-responsive violet-themed redesign across the whole app.

Containerized (Docker, SQLite on a persistent volume), reverse-proxied under a subpath via Caddy, deployed with its own GitHub Actions pipeline on every push to main — see the infrastructure write-up for how this and Paperwork share one small AWS instance.
